All the Fall Vibes
In this episode, I’m sharing two recent fall stops: Peck & Bushel Organic Fruit Company in Colgate and Schuster’s Farm in Deerfield. While Peck & Bushel is all about the apple orchard experience, Schuster’s Farm takes fall fun to a whole other level — with 70+ attractions and activities, a massive corn maze, a 14-acre pumpkin patch, farm animals, food, drinks, nighttime activities, live music and even a Haunted Forest. So grab your favorite fall drink and let’s get into ALL THE FALL VIBES! Peck & Bushel Organic Fruit Company First up: Peck & Bushel Organic Fruit Company, a family-owned certified organic orchard in Colgate. With more than 50,000 dwarf apple and fruit trees across 80 acres, Peck & Bushel is a beautiful spot for a classic Wisconsin apple-picking experience. They grow more than 35 varieties of apples, and you can pick your own fruit during the season or purchase pre-picked apples. Pick-Your-Own Pricing 1 peck bag: $34 — approximately 10 pounds and allows up to 5 people into the orchard ¼ peck bag: $12 per person — approximately 2–3 pounds No reservations are needed Open Fridays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. during the picking season And of course, there are plenty of apple treats and farm goodies to make the visit even more fall-approved! Schuster’s Farm Fall Festival Now let’s talk about the main event: Schuster’s Farm in Deerfield. If you’re looking for a place where you can basically spend an entire day soaking up fall, this is it. My Takeaway What I loved about Schuster’s is that it doesn’t feel like you’re just going to a pumpkin patch. It’s more like an entire fall experience. You can come during the day for the pumpkins, animals, corn maze and games. Stay for food and drinks. Make a bonfire. Come back at night for the flashlight maze or Haunted Forest. Catch some live music. Or make it a family day, date night or girls’ outing. There are honestly enough activities to make a whole afternoon — or an entire evening — out of it. So if you’re looking for a place to really lean into ALL THE FALL VIBES, Schuster’s Farm definitely belongs on your Wisconsin fall bucket list.
