Episode #118
Ep. 118 | Live like you've been saved
Our study of Ephesians continues in chapter four as we explore verses 25-32 and unpack Paul’s call to live like we’ve truly been saved. This isn't a message of shame or a list of impossible obligations; it’s an invitation to a higher standard. We discuss what it means to take off the old self, putting away deception, falsehood, and corrupting talk, and actively put on the new self. In this episode, we dive into what it looks like to speak the truth in love, handle anger without giving ground to the enemy, and examine the speech we put on display. We also discuss the freedom found in surrender and biblical forgiveness, exploring how reflecting on how much God has forgiven us frees us from bitterness and shifts our hearts to extend grace to others.
