Micah 6:8 | Maybe We’re Making This Too Complicated
Sometimes we make following God far more complicated than it needs to be. We wonder whether we’re praying enough, serving enough, learning enough, or somehow doing enough to get the Christian life right. Micah 6:8 cuts through the noise: act justly, love faithfulness, and walk humbly with God. In today’s Morning Salt, we’re ending the week by remembering that God isn’t interested in religious performance disconnected from everyday life. Walking with Him should shape the way we treat the people around us. Scripture: Micah 6:8 Today’s Salty Thought: God isn’t looking for impressive Christians. He’s looking for faithful ones. Today’s Step: Before the week ends, do one quiet act of mercy for someone. Encourage, forgive, help, give, or serve—and don’t worry about receiving any recognition for it.
