Episode #88
#88: Game's Theory
Back again with another new episode! Nick takes control of the show and kicks things off with Post Malone wanting to come back to rap. With ticket sales not moving as much, Post wants to return to his rap roots by releasing a new double album later this year. However, Nick feels differently about his return. See why, or if rap fans will accept Post back after his successful time in country, and Nick also dives into how some artists can pivot into different genres and still be respected when coming back into rap. Next, we take a trip to the West Coast with Complex Magazine as they list their 100 Greatest LA Rap Songs of All Time. Nick goes into the final 15 picks of the countdown and wonders, agrees, and disagrees with the picks the magazine made on how they ranked the songs. Later, The Game is back in the spotlight with his latest Verzuz battle with YG, comments on Kendrick & Drake, and him dropping The Documentary III. We break down the best and worst tracks, his comments and why The Game shouldn't be acting the way he is now. All that plus, Tyga's horrible, terrible, no good, very bad album rated from Pitchfork, shoutouts, an album recommendation and more!!!
