When You Can Feel Something Shifting, but You Can’t See It Yet Episode 75
Have you ever felt like something in your life was shifting—even though you couldn't explain what was changing? Nothing has happened yet. There isn't a clear answer, an obvious open door, or a detailed plan from God. You simply know that something feels different. In today's Sunday faith episode of Life by Design , Angie talks about what it means to trust God when you can't see the next chapter. On the eve of leaving for Germany and just days before turning 50, Angie reflects on what it feels like to stand between where you've been and wherever God may be leading you next. As she prepares to walk through places connected to her father's and grandparents' lives, she's reminded that the people who came before us also lived their stories without knowing how the next chapter would unfold. Through four powerful moments in Scripture, we look at how people in biblical times faced the same uncertainty we experience today. Abraham left home without knowing exactly where God was taking him. The Israelites stood at the Red Sea with an army behind them and no visible road ahead. Joseph endured betrayal, imprisonment, and years of uncertainty without knowing how God would eventually redeem his story. And after Jesus' crucifixion, His followers experienced the darkness of Saturday without knowing what Sunday morning would bring. We know how those stories end. They didn't. And that's an important reminder for us because we don't know how our stories end either. You haven't read next month yet. You haven't read next year. You haven't met everyone you're still going to meet. You don't know which doors will open, which prayers will be answered differently than you expected, or how God may use the things you've already survived. Maybe faith isn't having the entire map. Maybe faith is simply trusting God enough to take the next step. Hebrews 11:8 — Abraham obeyed God's call and went, even though he did not know where he was going. Exodus 14:13–14 — Israel stood before the Red Sea with no visible way forward and was reminded that the Lord would fight for them. Genesis 50:20 — Joseph looked back on what had been intended for evil and recognized God's ability to redeem it for good. John 20:1 — Mary arrived at the tomb while it was still dark, not yet understanding what God had already done. What is the next faithful step in front of me? You don't have to figure out your entire life today. You don't have to know how the story ends. You only have to be faithful with the page you're living right now. Because the God who was faithful on every page behind you is already present on every page ahead of you. Life by Design with Angela Weiss Faith. Healing. Growth. Becoming who God created you to be.
