K-State Regen Ag Podcast
Connecting the Dots of Regenerative Agriculture with Michael Doane
On this episode of the K-State Regen Ag Podcast, we speak with Michael Doane, currently a senior advisor for K-State’s regenerative agriculture efforts, but who has previously served as a leader on regenerative agriculture issues across many companies and organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, Regenified, Monsanto, and the Kansas Association of Wheat Growers. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from K-State, and he is a partner in his family farm, headquartered in Downs, KS. He joins the show to share his perspective on regenerative agriculture, having worked on the topic in private industry, with non-profit organizations, and as a farmer himself, and how he hopes to see K-State continue to advance as a leader in the space.
