Just Dads Reading Books

Okay, for this final part of our podcast launch we cheated a little bit. We both read the first Avatar novel a year or so ago but it's so good we wanted to check it out again in the context of this show. And it did not...

Matt read this graphic novel when he was 19 years old and boy I tell ya that's just a real wild time to be reading something like this. He decided he wanted to make his friend EJ sad for a little while, so he made him...

New Year and that means it's time to make a change! And we've got a great idea for everyone: read When the World Runs Dry by Nancy Castaldo and then go get your representatives to take the water crisis more seriously...

It's picture book time! David Wiesner is a THREE TIME Caldecott winner and felt deeply nostalgic for these two millennials. Come exam wordless children's fiction with us and what it means to engage in books WITH your...

**THIS EPISODE CONTAINS DISCUSSION ABOUT SUICIDE. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN LISTENING, ESPECIALLY AROUND CHILDREN** Matt found a book at the library with a fascinating structure and then it ruined his whole day. Thornhill...
