Throughout the book of Romans, Paul explains the truth and power of the gospel message and gives the church the mission to take that message to the world…Read: Romans 1:16-17, Romans 10:13-15, Romans 15:20If you had to evaluate your passion for the mission of taking the gospel to the world, what would you say about yourself? (excited, burdened, indifferent, scared, …) Explain… Where do you see things that you need to grow? 2. If the unity of the people of God is a major theme of seeing the world changed, where do you see the state of the church in the U.S.? What would need to change in the church? How would you think the church should go about growing in unity? What could you do personally? 3. Do you feel comfortable in your faith or challenged in your faith? Why do most people try to gravitate toward being comfortable? What is the cost of being comfortable? 4. Reflect on the life and ministry of Jesus… How did he consistently bring people to a place of challenge in their faith? Why do you think it takes challenge to bring change to people in most cases? How have you experienced challenge in your life bringing growth and change to your faith? How can we consistently bring challenge to our own life and faith? 5. Jesus modeled by becoming a person that bringing the Kingdom to earth is to be done personally and organically and intentionally. 6. If God places us intentionally in places where we can personally be an influence for the Kingdom, where are the places God has placed you right now? How can you be an influence in that place with your life? How has God used you in the past? How do you hope that He will use you in the future? 7. Who are people in your life whom you can invest and invite? (Invest in their life and relationship and invite them to join at church or in some way along your spiritual journey.)
