As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud are of me singing and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. It has been a while since I have deviated from a similar style prompt, Well here it is. No special reason for sticking to a particular style, it just happened while I was experimenting with fairly minimal differences in some style descriptions. However, I felt a need for raising the tempo for this "Latin - Jazz" version of an alternative rock track.

This is an old poem, which I have set to music and restructured to be more in the format of a song. I have posted a reading of the original poem on SC a few years ago, but never set it to music before. After MIL died, My wife had to sell the family home in which she grew up, in many ways a sad experience. But the poem tries to think ahead and the memories we make with our own youngsters.

A warning: if you can listen to the very end, there is a twist in the tail which you may find amusing. This was something I learned from a song by Hank Marvin in his song "London's Not Too Far". In my usual way, I started writing the lyric without planning out how to end the song and after several cul-de-sacs, I remembered this little trick. Never used it myself before but ir seemed appropriate here. Hope you like the song, I do not do many country songs but this seemed right for the lyric.

Another of those songs which took me for a walk. I had no idea where or how I would get to the end when I first wrote the title. I have also been playing with creating short video loops from Suno - fairly unsuccessfully so far. Difficult to create a loop which doesn't jump as it loops - even with the help of AI. Pity I cant put these videos on Soundcloud though. But I hope you can enjoy the music....
