David Spisak on Building a More Transparent Buying Experience
Sep 7, 202625 min
David Spisak, CEO and President of Disruptive Growth Solutions, challenges dealers to look beyond the threat of digital disruptors and examine what companies like Carvana reveal about changing consumer expectations. In the first part of a three-part Inside Automotive series, Spisak explores how simplicity, transparency, and convenience can reshape the vehicle-buying experience and where traditional dealerships continue to create unnecessary friction. Learning from disruptors: What dealers can take from Carvana’s approach without simply copying its business model. Consumer advocacy: Why positioning employees as advocates can create a more informed, lower-pressure buying experience. Digital retailing: The difference between offering digital tools and actually completing a transaction digitally. Reducing friction: How pricing, financing, trade valuations, and communication can create unnecessary barriers. Building trust: Why transparency and clearly explaining the transaction can strengthen consumer confidence. Lead conversion: Why dealerships should examine whether their own processes are causing customers to disengage. The Monthly Payment Gap: A New Compliance Risk for Dealers
Sep 2, 202625 min
The monthly payment has become a central part of the car-buying journey, but Pete MacInnis, John Fitzpatrick, and attorney Seth Dobbs explain why payment advertising can also create a growing compliance risk for dealers. The panel examines the gap between advertised payment estimates and actual lender decisions, and what dealers can do to ensure their offers are accurate, transparent, and properly disclosed. Payment accuracy: Why only 1.6% of applications in one analysis were approved as initially quoted. FTC scrutiny: How regulators may distinguish legitimate credit changes from misleading advertising. Digital consistency: Why dealers need a single source of truth across websites, VDPs, digital retailing, social, search, and other channels. Credit qualification: Why a consumer’s credit score alone cannot reliably predict a lender’s final terms. Disclosure requirements: How dealers should communicate that payment calculations are estimates subject to lender approval. OEM advertising: Why manufacturer-supplied offers do not necessarily remove a dealer’s responsibility for its own advertising. Robert DeGeorge on Why AI Needs Analytics to Win
Aug 31, 20265 min
Robert DeGeorge, Director of Product Consulting for Dealer.com and VinSolutions, explains how dealers can use AI alongside traditional analytics to make smarter decisions about their websites and digital marketing. While AI can analyze language, identify content gaps, and suggest improvements, DeGeorge cautions that its recommendations should not replace verified performance data. Key discussion points include: Why AI cannot replace analytics for measuring website performance The risks of making decisions based on inaccurate or incomplete data How dealers can verify AI recommendations using analytics, CRM, call tracking, and website data Using AI to identify content gaps and merchandising opportunities Improving calls to action and customer-facing website content Why combining trusted measurement with AI interpretation creates a stronger digital strategy DeGeorge also discusses how dealerships can provide AI with better context and specific data to generate more useful insights, while keeping human expertise involved in decisions that affect budgets, vendors, and website strategy. Dave Mondragon on How Dealers Can Scale Without Selling
Aug 27, 202619 min
Dave Mondragon, Founder and CEO of AutoTrust Dealer Alliance, explains how dealer-owned scale can help family and independent franchise dealers compete without giving up ownership. AutoTrust uses a cooperative membership model that allows dealers to pool their buying power while retaining the economic benefits generated by their own businesses. Key discussion points include: How AutoTrust’s cooperative model gives dealers greater negotiating leverage Why scale without selling could help family-owned dealerships remain independent The economic pressures of margin compression, higher capital costs, and affordability How collective buying power can help dealers compete with public and consolidator-backed groups The role of independent ownership and community involvement in the franchise model How additional economics can support employee pay, retention, and dealership operations Inside Automotive with Jim Fitzpatrick is powered by CBT News , your go-to source for the latest news, trends, and insights in retail automotive. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
