Corey Kent: Heartland Rock And Roll, His Sound, His Terms | In The Blind Ep. 80
In The Blind is the raw country music and lifestyle podcast filmed inside Riley Green’s Duck Blind in midtown Nashville. Hosts Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles of platinum selling duo Love and Theft sit down artist to artist for unfiltered talks on the music, the road, family, and real life. This week’s guest is Corey Kent, the Bixby, Oklahoma native who hit the road young, broke through with the triple platinum No. 1 “Wild As Her,” and built a career of more than a billion streams by refusing to fit in anybody else’s box. He just released Heartland Rock and Roll, the most personal record of his career and the first time he has put a name on the sound he has been chasing. We got into Corey’s brand new project Heartland Rock and Roll, the grind, how he has walked a unique path, doing things on his terms, family, mental health, the music business, community, and so much more. This was an incredible conversation. Tune in, like and subscribe, and please share it with your country music loving friends.
