Hypno-Travelers on the Magical Psyche Highway
Episode 114 - Adam Duvel, Creator of 'Sin City Hypnotists'
Adam Duvel, the creator of "Sin City Hypnotists," is a multifaceted healer, hypnotist, and entertainer based in Las Vegas. His path to hypnotherapy is rooted in a highly diverse background: he studied biological psychology, taught English in South Korea while exploring Buddhism, and spent nine years working as an elementary school teacher in Chicago. When the COVID-19 pandemic provided him with unexpected free time, Duvel formally dedicated himself to hypnosis, studying at the Mike Mandel and Jacquin Hypnosis Academies. He initially honed his craft by offering free online sessions to hundreds of people, eventually transitioning into a career where he performs street hypnosis, entertains in private settings, and uses hypnotherapy and breathwork to help individuals safely release deeply held emotional blockages. Beyond his hypnotic expertise, Duvel is a passionate musician, drummer, and fire dancer. He was instrumental in the evolution of Chicago's "Full Moon Jam," a monthly outdoor gathering that grew to attract thousands of attendees, and he aims to create a similarly vibrant, community-focused event in Las Vegas. Duvel views the arts and performance as essential tools for human connection and healing. He believes that by immersing people in the present moment—whether through a captivating drum circle, fire dancing, or a guided hypnosis session—they can shed the weight of their fears and doubts. Ultimately, his mission is to seamlessly merge his talents as an entertainer and a healer, guiding others toward greater emotional freedom and self-discovery.
