Episode #51
Interview with Special Guest Fabio Frizzi
Send us Fan Mail In this special episode -- and our Season 2 finale -- Samantha and Bonnie, alongside Anthony “Tombstone Tony” Landry, connect with legendary Italian composer Fabio Frizzi, best known for his hauntingly iconic scores in horror films, including City of the Living Dead and The Beyond. The conversation transcends language and time zones with shared insights, laughter, and stories from the wondrous world of film music. Not only does Signore Frizzi recount his early experiences within the music world with a one-of-a-kind encounter that would change his life for the better, but also how his journey of composing and touring offered challenges and triumphs that would come to shape his unique sound. This frightfully insightful conversation reminds us about the power of music and how it brings people together, no matter who they are, where they come from, or what time period they live in. Join us in celebrating the timeless art of film scoring and the incredible stories behind the music that haunt our dreams (and create earworms).
