Jesus plus nothing. The Word of God minus nothing. We believe the Church is a people, where God dwells in undeniable, tangible, and life-changing ways. Whenever we gather, we prioritize the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is our focus. Worship is not just a ‘warm-up’ for the preacher; it is integral to our service. We expect signs and wonders and believe that revival is inevitable. The human heart was made to burn with the fire of God’s love and power! We aim to record every Sunday gathering to share with you as various members of the body speak about what God is revealing.

As our living saviour speaks to us, how do we best prioritise what God is highlighting to us? But may our focus not be consumed by the things, but always be on the Lord.

Life is busy, so what can we do in practical terms to look after ourselves? But let us not get so preoccupied that we forget to sit at the Lords feet.

Looking again at our foundations, we must be people of the Spirit, and we must be people of the Word. Are we spending time waiting on the Lord? To encounter the wind and fire of the Spirit.

Are we ready at a moment's notice to bring the word, in and out of season? We are people of the word and of the spirit, so is what God is doing on the inside, causing us to want to talk to others about Him.

Today, we hear from our friends in Israel and pray blessings upon them. We also look back on part of our story and how God has spoken to us about being fishers of men, here in our backyard and to the nations.

How should we be in this time? Not reacting to the things happening around us but responding rightly according to what The Word says. To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.
