EP 48: The Midweek Reset: The Key To Consistency
Consistency will take you further than perfection ever will. In this episode of Healthy Boundaries for Moms, Lori talks about letting go of black-and-white thinking and creating realistic expectations that you can actually follow through on. Whether it's holding boundaries with your kids, taking care of your body, investing in your relationships, or staying connected to God, the goal isn't to do everything perfectly. It's to keep returning to what matters. Sometimes the problem isn't that we need more discipline. The expectations we've created simply aren't sustainable for the season we're in. Instead of asking, "What would the perfect version of this look like?" we can ask, "What can I faithfully repeat?" Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing good because we will reap a harvest if we don't give up. Faithfulness isn't about never getting off course. It's about learning how to come back. Where am I expecting perfection from myself instead of focusing on consistency? Are the goals and boundaries I've created realistic and repeatable for the season I'm actually in? Where have I gotten off course, and what is one small decision I can make today to come back?
