Richard Olivier | 27.09.26 | The Holy Spirit Lives In You
Welcome to the Harvest Church Podcast. We’re so glad you’re here. In this week’s message, Richard Olivier invites us to rediscover the incredible reality that the Holy Spirit lives in us. What if the presence of God isn’t something we have to chase, earn, or work for—but something we already carry? Richard explores the different voices competing for our attention and asks what happens when we quiet the noise and become more aware of the One who already dwells within us. The Holy Spirit is not a reward for getting everything right. He doesn’t come closer when we perform well or disappear when we fail. Because of the gift of righteousness, He abides in us. This changes the way we pray, worship, read Scripture and approach everyday life. Instead of continually asking, “Holy Spirit, be with me,” what if we began to live with the awareness, “Holy Spirit, thank You for being in me”? Richard unpacks what it means to practice the presence of God—to shift our awareness towards Him and allow His presence to bring transformation, wisdom, purpose and power into every area of our lives. The goal isn’t to try to get an anointing. The goal is to yield to what has already been deposited in you. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. He lives in you. 1 Corinthians 6:17, 19 | 1 John 2:27 | 2 Corinthians 1:20–22 | Acts 10:38 ️ Richard Olivier | Harvest Church Harvest Church is a family of believers based in Durban, South Africa.
