Willie Myers And when I say I’ve known this man for YEARS… We literally live in the same state, but somehow I mostly see him when we’re traveling for business. Willie is a U.S. Navy veteran, father of eight, grandfather of five, author, disability advocate, and a paramedic who spent 39 years serving others. In 2014, his life changed dramatically when he was critically injured while on assignment. But Willie didn’t allow that moment to become the end of his story. He turned adversity into purpose. He became an advocate, an author, an entrepreneur, and continued building a life centered around impact and possibility. And with the anniversary of his injury around this time of year, I think the timing of this conversation is especially meaningful. We’re talking about what happens when life changes in an instant… and you have to figure out who you’re going to become on the other side. I’m so excited for y’all to meet the Willie I know.
