Soon, Pip is drawn into the enigmatic world of Miss Havisham, a wealthy recluse who invites him to play with the beautiful yet haughty Estella. Despite his humble beginnings and feelings of inadequacy, Pip dreams of a grander life—one filled with wealth, education, and love. When a mysterious benefactor enables him to become a gentleman in London, Pip is elated, believing it to be Miss Havisham’s doing.
