  For more than two decades, Rob Carroll helped shape the culture of South Heights Elementary School around a simple belief: kids deserve our very best...and there's no excuse for us to let them down. In this episode of the For Henderson podcast, Rob shares the story behind his 22 years as principal at South Heights, the creation of the school’s lasting mission, and the unconventional decisions that helped transform expectations for students, families, and staff. Rob also takes us behind the early vision for Audubon Kids Zone, explaining why serving kids well required Henderson’s schools, churches, organizations, and community leaders to work together beyond the walls of the classroom (or the traditional 9-5 hours).
