  ENCORE ALERT! The Feminist Buzzkills are off for a much needed end-of-summer break! But, no need to fear! We’re leaving y’all with some extra brain juice to keep you company while we’re offline. One thing about us: we will ALWAYS do THE MOST to protect medication abortion. So, in honor of that, we’re dropping an encore episode from May, when we tried to make sense of the mifepristone case headed to the Fifth Circuit. If you’re not already familiar with Louisiana v. FDA or need a refresher on WTF is going on, this is the perfect catch-up episode. WHY YOU ASK? Because Sept 9th is the next hearing at the Fifth Circuit on this case, we’ll be dropping a brand-new episode breaking down the oral arguments and what they could mean for the future of medication abortion. Basically: consider this your mifepristone case homework. The episode went a little something like this… Lizz and Moji have been chugging Imodium the last seven days as they follow the twists and turns of the Fifth Circus Court ruling that created a federal ban and put the mail distribution of the abortion pill mifepristone on the chopping block. Between Sam Alito giving us a week of reprieve to dial back our panic to 23/7 and the FDA assessing the fate of abortion medication using a debunked “study” (really just a forced-birth fever dream scribbled on fishwrap), we were already hanging by a thread. Then Oklahoma decided to do the absolute most by funneling money to FAKE clinics.
