Bitcoin for Family Offices: Why No Position Is Now a Position | Richard C. Wilson x Eric Runge
Aug 28, 202627 min
Send us Fan Mail No Bitcoin position is not a neutral position anymore. Richard Wilson sits down with Eric Runge, a Bitcoin-focused RIA founder and active Family Office Club member, in a conversation that started the same week a $1.5 billion trust company reached out to Family Office Club asking who in the community specializes in institutional Bitcoin strategy. Family Office Club has run 300+ investor events over 19 years for a 16 million member community, and this episode breaks down how family offices are actually approaching Bitcoin today: on-chain versus ETF exposure, sizing frameworks, custody decisions, the payment-rail case via Square, and why "no position" has quietly become a position of its own. Eric also shares the step-by-step process he walks families through before they buy a single Bitcoin, and his framework for separating real use cases from hype. Join us at the Family Office Club Silicon Valley Summit on September 24, 2026 in Sunnyvale, CA to connect with investors having this exact conversation live: https://familyoffices.com Eric Runge: focuses on helping family offices and high-net-worth investors understand and manage Bitcoin exposure familyofficebitcoin.com | eric@veritaswealth.net https://familyoffices.com/

The Case for Alternative Residential Real Estate: Student Housing, Senior Housing, and the Demographic Opportunity
Aug 28, 20264 min
Send us Fan Mail This CIO co-founded a housing-focused investment firm after scaling one of the largest single-family rental platforms in the country alongside a major institutional capital partner. The playbook hasn't changed: find fragmented, alternative residential asset classes where institutional-quality operations haven't yet arrived, and build the platform that gets them there. In this episode, he breaks down why student housing and senior housing are the firm's most active deployment targets right now - and why the national narrative on student housing misses what's actually happening at the market and school level. He also explains the platform-building DNA behind the firm's strategy, why cash flow drives every underwriting decision, and what "doing well and doing good" actually looks like when you're investing in housing for underserved residents. Recorded at the Single Family Office Summit, hosted by Family Office Club - 300+ events, 16 million registered members, and over $1 billion in community transactions. Learn more at FamilyOffices.com. Family Office Club Hot Seat Webinar: Live Capital Raising Q&A With Richard C. Wilson
Aug 27, 20262 hour
Send us Fan Mail This is the Family Office Club Monthly Hot Seat Webinar from August 2026. Every month I get on live with verified members, Charter members, and community participants to answer questions in real time - no slides, no script, just direct Q&A on whatever challenge is in front of you right now. Topics covered in this session include how to raise capital for a protein business with 2 million pounds a month of beef processing - including finding the right investors in agricultural Midwest markets like Omaha, structuring a custom deal for a strategic anchor investor, and carving out a fabrication and distribution entity as a separate capital raise. We also covered what a corporate venture capital group is and how to find one inside a large company, how deal origination teams at private equity firms work, and how to use the FOC Investor Pipeline Builder to find the top 50 investor leads in any city by industry focus. Additionally we covered the value-first relationship strategy for building connections with centimillionaires and billionaires - including a real example of a member who approached a high-net-worth individual by simply saying how can I help you and built a meaningful relationship from that conversation. We also discussed using Claude to scan and summarize bootcamp notes, the FOC AI operating system now being rebranded as Hyper Intelligent, and the launch of Dr. Dewey - our Dewey Instant Due Diligence tool adapted specifically for doctors and dentists evaluating medical, healthcare, and investment deals. Upcoming events mentioned: Silicon Valley Summit September 24th and the Family Office Super Summit in Fort Lauderdale December 15th to 17th with 112 speakers over 3 days. Family Office Club is the largest investor club in the family office space. Founded 19 years ago by Richard C. Wilson, we have 16 million registered members, have hosted 300+ events, and our community has facilitated over $1 billion in transactions. From Private Lender to Hydrogen Technology: 20 Years of Strategic Pivots in Real Estate and Energy
Aug 26, 20265 min
Send us Fan Mail This investor didn't start in energy. He started as a real estate borrower, learned the mechanics of private lending from the inside, and then made a deliberate decision to become the lender. Today, his firm deploys capital into residential real estate loans and has quietly built a portfolio of strategic energy investments - including a hydrogen technology company that has earned recognition from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and produced a Fulbright Scholars Award-winning researcher. In this episode, he explains the principle that guides every pivot: only enter an investment when your existing resources, network, and experience create real mutual benefit - not just financial return. He also shares why he doesn't consider himself an angel investor despite operating in one of the most active startup markets in the country. Recorded at the Single Family Office Summit, hosted by Family Office Club - 19 years, 300+ events, 16 million registered members. Register for our next event at FamilyOffices.com. The B2H Framework From a $10B IPO Builder
Aug 24, 20263 min
Send us Fan Mail This investor's edge isn't capital - it's communication. As a brand strategist and communications founder, she has helped take companies to multi-billion dollar IPOs and record-breaking public market debuts. She backs founders she believes in and uses brand strategy to amplify their growth from the inside. Her investment thesis is simple: if a company can't connect on a human level, the product doesn't matter. In this episode, she introduces the B2H framework - Business to Human - and explains why the most common mistake she sees from founders is leading with everything they do instead of what the investor actually cares about. She breaks down why eight seconds is all you have to make an impression, and what a memorable soundbite actually looks like in a capital-raising context. Recorded at the Single Family Office Summit, hosted by Family Office Club - the largest investor club in the family office space with 300+ events hosted over 19 years. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
