Stop Logging Into 14 Portals a Day: Inside SmartFetch
Aug 12, 202623 minS3
Somewhere right now, someone in finance is logging into their 14th vendor portal of the day, copying passwords out of a spreadsheet, downloading invoices one by one, and racing a shutoff deadline they can't see coming. In this episode, Ravit Gutman and Mike Jasper dig into SmartFetch, the AI agent built after watching a healthcare client's team manually download hundreds of invoices a month across just one utility portal. Mike explains how SmartFetch logs into vendor portals, telecom accounts, and shipping platforms, grabs invoices the moment they post, and delivers them straight to your payment system, fully tagged with account number, amount, and bill date. Ravit then puts Mike through a myth vs. fact round covering the questions every AP team asks before automating this kind of work: Does it store your passwords somewhere risky? Will it get your accounts locked out? Can it really pull from hundreds of portals with a single login? And will you actually know if something goes wrong? Along the way, they share how one client scaled invoice volume by 40%+ without adding a single AP hire, and why this problem is bigger than AP alone. If someone on your team is still running the portal marathon every morning, send them this one.
Halfway Through 2026: What Actually Happened to AI in Finance
Jul 14, 202622 minS3
Extropy CEO Ravit Gutman and VP Mike Jasper hit pause at the midpoint of 2026 to grade what they got right (and wrong) back in January. Agents went from trade show demos to running quietly in the background of everyday finance work. Anthropic and OpenAI both launched enterprise deployment arms within 72 hours of each other. And new data shows 78% of organizations have deployed AI in at least one business function, with finance teams among the most active adopters. But the execution gap hasn't closed. 81% of finance departments have tried AI in some form, only 14% call it a successful transformation. Ravit and Mike break down what's driving that gap, what the EU AI Act's August 2 deadline and France's e-invoicing mandate mean for finance leaders, and make their predictions for the back half of the year, including one bold call about AI and a material financial error. Tune in for a clear-eyed midyear check-in, no hype, just what's real.
The Execution Gap: Why Great Strategies Fall Apart Before They Begin
May 27, 202621 minS2
Most strategies don't fail because they're wrong. They fail because organizations can't execute them. In this episode, Mike Jasper sits down with Extropy Project Manager Cecile Brown-Smith to unpack the systematic forces behind that gap. They explore why entropy quietly erodes even the best-laid plans, how ambiguity stalls teams and kills momentum, and why the people closest to the work are often left out of the rooms where decisions get made. From tribal knowledge to missing legal sign-off, the execution gap is rarely dramatic. It's dozens of small breakdowns that pile up until the project is already off course. Tune in for a practical conversation on what it actually takes to convert strategic intent into daily behavior, and why structure, clarity, and the right people in the room make all the difference.
The Speed Trap: How Growth Without Structure Accelerates Decay
May 14, 202616 minS2
Growth is supposed to be a good thing, so why does it make everything harder? In this episode, Kevin Zirkle and Mike Jasper unpack the tension between speed and structure, and why scaling faster than your systems can support is one of the fastest paths to corporate entropy. They break down what "scaling before stabilizing" really looks like, why speed is a multiplier for both good and bad, and what it actually takes to design for sustainable velocity. If your organization is growing but things feel increasingly chaotic, this one is for you.
Why AP Is the Hidden Risk in Your SAP Migration
(with Jason Kurtz, CEO of Basware)
May 7, 202643 minS2
Most SAP Cloud ERP migrations treat Accounts Payable as an afterthought. That's a mistake that costs organizations years of lost value, compliance fines, and a core that's anything but clean. In this episode of Extropy On AIr, host Ravit Gutman sits down with Jason Kurtz, CEO of Basware, to break down why the calls you make about AP during your migration window will shape how your finance function performs for the next decade. They get into the real reasons nearly 60% of SAP migrations run over budget or behind schedule, why a specialist AP layer actually protects your clean core instead of adding complexity, how Basware's AI is built on 2.5 billion processed invoices and what that means for touchless processing, what compliance-as-a-service looks like when over 100 global mandates are actively shifting, and why "we'll deal with AP later" is the phrase finance leaders come to regret most. If you're a CFO, CIO, Controller, or transformation lead anywhere near an SAP program right now, this one is worth your full attention.

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
