This episode Polly is joined by another industry expert, Amanda Pfeil, who serves as the Clinical Program Consultant for Accelerated Care Plus. Together they discuss two amazing SLP devices- OmniFlow & Synchrony Amanda received a double Bachelor’s in Psychology and Communication Sciences & Disorders, as well as her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Baylor University in Texas. Since graduating, she has worked in many settings while her husband served in the Navy including schools, private practice pediatrics, skilled nursing, outpatient, and acute care. In her current role, Amanda has served as a SLP Clinical Program Consultant for ACP since 2021. She holds certifications and competencies in MDTP, Speak Out, NMES, sEMG biofeedback for dysphagia, and MBSimp. Amanda has always enjoyed continuous learning and sharing evidence-based practice with the “P” (patient values) being the forefront of her treatment. In 2021, Amanda was granted the Early Career Professional Award. ASHA has also recognized her passion for continued learning with an ACE (Award for Continuing Education) in 2021 & 2024. Amanda is a member of ASHA Special Interest Group’s 13 & 15.
