  Nudi alla visita di leva: come nasce la solitudine maschile C'è una stanza fredda, una fila di ragazzi, nudi. Per generazioni di uomini italiani, la visita di leva è stata il punto in cui lo Stato decideva non solo se il loro corpo era abile ma anche cosa quel corpo aveva il permesso di desiderare. In questo episodio non si parla di nostalgia per la naja. Si parla di una lezione che nessuno ha mai detto a voce, ma che migliaia di uomini hanno imparato in quelle stanze negli anni Settanta e Ottanta: quanto si può stare vicini, dove scatta il sospetto, perché tra uomini certe cose non si guardano e non si dicono. Quei ragazzi sono diventati i padri, gli zii, i fratelli maggiori. E quella distanza l'hanno passata a chi è venuto dopo, senza nemmeno accorgersene. Oggi ha un altro nome. La chiamano carattere. La chiamano indipendenza. Ma per tanti uomini di trenta, quaranta, cinquant'anni è qualcos'altro: è la difficoltà di abbracciare un amico, di dire a un altro uomo che gli vuoi bene, di restare vicino a un corpo maschile senza irrigidirsi. For generations of Italian men, the conscription medical was the point where the State decided not only whether their body was fit, but also what that body was allowed to desire.
