EP 489 | The Summer My Business Had to Run Without Me
Sep 7, 202616 min
What happens to your online business when life gets messy and you can’t show up the way you normally do? In this episode of the Email Empire Podcast, I’m sharing how my automated email funnel, evergreen email marketing strategy, and consistent lead generation kept my business running during a summer filled with moving, black mold, cockroaches, travel, baseball, and a whole lot of unexpected chaos. I’ll break down why I focused almost exclusively on email list growth through collaborations, lead magnet swaps, and Bundles—and then let my 12-month automated email sales funnel nurture those new subscribers and make offers for me. We’re also talking about the difference between building a business that makes less when you work less and building a business that completely stops making money when you stop showing up. If you want to create an online business that relies less on constant launches, social media content, and live selling, this episode will show you why evergreen email funnels and automated email marketing systems matter. BIG TAKEAWAY: Build your email marketing systems for the season when you won’t be able to give your business everything—because eventually, life will require your attention somewhere else. EP 488 | The Buyer Type Who Buys the Possibility [7 Buyer Types Series]
Jul 6, 202611 min
Some buyers aren’t purchasing because they’re desperate to escape a problem, they’re purchasing because they can finally see what’s possible on the other side of it. In this episode, Allison breaks down the transformational buyer and shows you why simply listing what your offer includes isn’t enough to move this person toward a decision. You’ll learn how to connect the work inside your offer to the meaningful outcomes your audience actually wants, without relying on vague, fluffy promises. Because your potential buyers shouldn’t have to figure out why your offer matters; your sales emails need to make that connection for them. TAKEAWAYS Learn how the Transformational Buyer differs from the Pain Point Buyer, even when both are experiencing the exact same problem. Use grounded aspirational language to help your audience picture a desirable future that still feels specific, believable, and connected to your offer. Add “so that” language to your sales copy to clearly connect the work your buyer will do with the outcome they want to experience. Review your offer’s features and ask what each one changes, creates, or makes possible for your buyer. Stop ending your sales copy at “you’ll learn how” and start showing your audience why that knowledge actually matters. EP 487 | How to Create an Email Newsletter People Actually Want to Read featuring Megan Yelaney [Empire Exclusive]
Jun 29, 202623 min
In this Empire Exclusive episode, Allison sits down with business strategist Megan Yelaney to talk about how she’s using email to create real connection, build demand, and make her newsletter something people actually look forward to reading. Megan's approach to her newsletter doesn't involve cramming every email with “mind-blowing value”. Instead, Megan shares the simple three-part format behind her weekly newsletter, The Weekly Edge, and how she blends personal life, behind-the-scenes business content, and client wins in a way that feels both strategic and genuinely human. TAKEAWAYS: Your newsletter doesn’t have to be packed with constant education to be valuable; connection, transparency, and behind-the-scenes context can be just as powerful. Megan’s three-part newsletter format makes email easier to write by giving each issue a simple structure: life, business, and client stories. Behind-the-scenes content is working because people want to see how you actually operate, make decisions, solve problems, and balance real life with business. Client wins become more compelling when you give context, not just screenshots, so your audience can understand the transformation and see what’s possible for them. A weekly newsletter can become a repurposing engine for your content instead of another one-off task that disappears after you hit send. EP 486 | The Buyer Type Who Knows They Have a Problem [7 Buyer Types Series]
Jun 22, 20269 min
Some buyers on your email list don’t need you to convince them they have a problem—they already know. They’re living it, they can name it, and they’ve probably tried to solve it before. In this episode, Allison is breaking down the Pain Point Buyer. This is the Buyer Type who feels the frustration, sees the gap, and needs your sales email to connect the dots between their problem and your solution—without the gross, shame-y marketing tactics. Because yes, you can sell by naming what’s not working, without making your people feel terrible about themselves. TAKEAWAYS The Pain Point Buyer already knows they have the problem your offer solves, so your job is not to manufacture pain—it’s to make them feel seen, understood, and supported. Not everyone with a problem is ready to solve it, which means this email is best used later in your Email Pitch Sequence when your buyer is more aware and closer to making a decision. Strong pain point messaging names the real frustration beneath the surface-level problem. You can acknowledge what’s not working without using fear, shame, or overly dramatic copy to push someone into buying. An email speaking directly to the Pain Point Buyer should clearly connect the buyer’s existing frustration to the transformation your offer helps them create. LINKS YOU MIGHT FIND HELPFUL: Check out the blog post that accompanies this podcast episode for more details and resources. EP 485 | The Buyer Type Who Needs an Invitation to Ask Their Question [7 Buyer Types Series]
Jun 15, 202611 min
In this episode of the Email Empire Podcast, Allison Hardy is breaking down the buyer type who is this close to buying, but has one specific question standing between them and the “Buy Now” button. Meet the Invitational Buyer. The Buyer Type who needs explicit permission to hit 'Reply' and ask what’s really on their mind. And yes, this email may feel almost too simple to work, but Allison shares why it can open the exact conversations that lead to more sales. TAKEAWAYS The Invitational Buyer is often already interested, already reading, and already considering your offer, they just need one specific concern answered before they feel ready to buy. A simple “hit 'Reply' and ask me your question” email can create powerful sales conversations because it gives people permission to ask what they may otherwise keep to themselves. Not every objection is big, obvious, or FAQ-worthy. Sometimes the thing stopping someone from buying is highly specific to their business, schedule, capacity, tech, or circumstances. When you answer someone’s question personally and specifically, you create trust, and that kind of trust can make the next step feel much easier for the buyer. Allison shares how this exact type of email was directly responsible for over $80,000 in sales in her business in 2025, proving that simple does not mean ineffective. LINKS YOU MIGHT FIND HELPFUL: Check out the blog post that accompanies this podcast episode for more details and resources. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
