Crisis Management with Fexingo is the daily show for leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs who need to make real decisions when the market turns. Lucas and Luna cut through the noise of every recession rumor and layoff headline, grounding each episode in specific numbers and named cases from the current moment. They examine how companies navigate downturns — from the initial margin squeeze to the brutal calculus of workforce reduction — and what separates a survival story from a collapse. Lucas brings the journalistic rigor, tracking the macro signals that trigger crisis mode and the micro-decisions that define a response. Luna presses on the human and strategic dimensions: how do CEOs choose which divisions to cut? What does a responsible layoff plan actually look like on paper? When does cost-cutting cross into self-destruction? Each episode is built around a real-world crisis scenario drawn from the public record — a retailer facing a demand cliff, a tech firm burning through cash, a

How Nike Turned Supply Chain Chaos Into Margin Growth
Oct 2, 202610 minS5
In October 2026, with real GDP growth slowing to 2.2 percent and job openings falling to roughly 7 million, consumer brands are under pressure to defend margins. Lucas and Luna examine how Nike navigated the post-pandemic supply chain volatility that hit hardest in 2024 and 2025. We look at their specific decision to shift inventory from Asian factories closer to home and how that move allowed them to avoid the deep discounting traps that caught competitors like Adidas and Lululemon off guard. The episode breaks down the operational pivot, the cost of carrying extra stock versus the profit saved by avoiding clearance sales, and why this strategy matters for any business managing complex logistics today. #NikeSupplyChain #BusinessStrategy #MarginProtection #InventoryManagement #LogisticsPivot #ConsumerBrands #RetailResilience #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #SupplyChainRisk #Nearshoring #OperationalExcellence #CostOfCapital #DiscountAvoidance #ManufacturingShift #GlobalTrade #Q3EarningsContext #October2026 Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
