Episode 111 - WoW Forever Is Already Out of Control
Oct 2, 202652 min
WoW Forever is still in beta, and people are already treating it like the real game. Massive world PvP is breaking out. People are buying gold. Bots are already part of the conversation. Blizzard is warning players about suspicious gold and knowingly receiving illicit gold. And we haven’t even reached launch yet. Blacklabel is absolutely playing WoW Forever when it drops. He’s just not grinding the beta into the ground because he wants launch to still feel new. No memorizing every route. No learning every farm. No optimizing all the discovery out of the game before the permanent character even exists. In this solo follow-up to our most-viewed WoW Forever episode, Blacklabel breaks down: why world PvP feels exciting again why buying gold in a temporary beta is ridiculous Blizzard getting more serious about buyers, sellers, bots, and illicit gold why streamers and regular players may need to be careful accepting suspicious gold how bots could damage Forever’s economy why Retail feels quieter in his circles right now why slower WoW might actually make the world feel more meaningful and whether his original concern about splitting the WoW playerbase is already starting to happen And the funniest part? The playerbase split Blacklabel was worried about... he’s about to contribute to it himself. Are you grinding the beta right now, or are you waiting for launch so the game still feels fresh? ️ Co-op Chronicles Episode 111 Keep grinding those levels and finishing those sidequests! #WoWForever #WorldOfWarcraft #GamingPodcast #WoWClassic #CoOpChronicles Support the show
Episode 110 - Real Mysteries That Still Don’t Have an Answer
Sep 28, 202651 min
October is almost here, so Co-op Chronicles is getting spooky. This week, Blacklabel and Azzilee dig into five real mysteries where something definitely happened, but the full explanation is still missing. We’re talking about the bizarre Max Headroom broadcast intrusion , the mysterious Wow! Signal , the strange Hessdalen Lights , the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers from the Flannan Isles , and the low-frequency Taos Hum that only some people seem to hear. The rule for this episode is simple: Facts first. Theories second. We separate what is actually documented from the conspiracy theories, paranormal explanations, and internet rumors that came later. Which mystery bothers us the most? Which one could still be solved? And if we could learn the full truth behind only one, which would we choose? ️ Co-op Chronicles Episode 110 #UnsolvedMysteries #MysteryPodcast #SpookySeason #Paranormal #CoOpChronicles Instagram Caption Some mysteries are creepy because of what happened. Others are creepy because nobody can fully explain why. For Episode 110, Blacklabel and Azzilee dig into five real mysteries where the facts are already strange enough. Max Headroom broadcast intrusion The Wow! Signal The Hessdalen Lights The Flannan Isles disappearance The Taos Hum No automatic aliens. No automatic ghosts. No pretending theories are facts. Just what we know, what might have happened, and which mystery still bothers us the most. Episode 109 - World of Warcraft: Forever... Is Blizzard Splitting WoW Too Much?
Sep 16, 202658 min
World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard’s new permanent take on original Azeroth, mixing Classic-style progression with brand-new zones, quests, raids, systems, and long-term updates. But is that actually good for WoW? In this solo episode, Blacklabel breaks down WoW Forever from the perspective of someone who currently plays and enjoys Retail. We get into whether Forever is really the Classic+ players have been asking for, why Retail players might still be interested, the biggest pros and cons, and whether Blizzard is giving players more choice or just splitting the WoW community into even more separate groups. Can Retail, Classic, Hardcore, seasonal servers, and Forever all stay healthy at the same time? And if Forever ends up being amazing, does it become your main version of WoW, or just another game competing for your time? Let us know where you’re coming from: Retail, Classic, both, or returning specifically for Forever. ️ Co-op Chronicles Episode 109 #WorldOfWarcraft #WoWForever #WoWClassic #GamingPodcast #CoOpChronicles Support the show
Episode 108 - We Missed Gamescom... So What Did We Actually Miss?
Sep 2, 202652 min
Gamescom 2026 came and went, and Blacklabel and Azzilee definitely weren’t sitting there watching every showcase live. So this week on Co-op Chronicles, we’re catching up on the games that actually made us stop and pay attention. From Geralt returning in The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past to Gears of War: E-Day, Mega Man: Dual Override, 1666: Amsterdam, ONTOS, Tides of Annihilation, Petit Planet, 1001 Threads of Mizan, AION 2, Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, and more, we’re figuring out what these games actually are and whether we’d really play them. We also get into some bigger questions: Can a new expansion really bring you back to a game from 2015? ⚙️ Can an old franchise like Mega Man still feel fresh? Could Tides of Annihilation become a serious Game of the Year contender? Can AION 2 avoid becoming another pay-to-win MMO? Does Warlock look good even if you don’t care about Dungeons & Dragons? And maybe the biggest question... Did Gamescom actually show us anything worth getting excited about? ️ Co-op Chronicles, Episode 108 We Missed Gamescom... So What Did We Actually Miss? Episode 107 - A Gamer Dad Lets His Daughters Explain
Aug 16, 20261h 7m
Parents talk about kids and gaming all the time. But how often do we actually ask the kids what they think? For Episode 107, Blacklabel is joined by his daughters for a different kind of Co-op Chronicles conversation. After recently doing an episode about Roblox safety from the parent perspective, Blacklabel realized something pretty obvious: He spent an entire episode talking about kids and gaming... without actually having any kids there to tell him if he knew what the hell he was talking about. So this time, the kids get the microphone. We talk about what adults misunderstand about Roblox, online friends, Robux and in-game spending, TikTok and YouTube, gaming trends, online safety, bullying and being left out, old-school games versus modern gaming, and what parents might actually be worrying about too much... or not enough. We also get into what gaming has meant for us as a family, whether online friends can be real friends, how parents can build trust instead of just policing screen time, and what kids wish adults understood about their generation. Then Blacklabel makes the questionable decision to let his daughters interview him. This isn’t a parenting lecture. It’s a dad sitting down with his daughters and actually listening. ️ Co-op Chronicles - Episode 107 What Parents Get WRONG About Kids & Gaming Parents: what has your kid taught you about gaming or being online?
