Episode #401
#402 Seed Session He May Not Come When You Want Him
In this episode, I spoke on the powerful story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead (John 11). I break down who Martha, Mary, and Lazarus were, and the significance of their relationship with Jesus. When Martha and Mary sent word that their brother was sick, Jesus could have come immediately. Instead, He deliberately waited. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead for four days beyond the common belief that after three days all hope was gone. Jesus allowed the situation to reach what seemed impossible so that everyone would know that Lazarus' resurrection was not the work of man, but the power of God. Through this miracle, Jesus revealed Himself as "the resurrection and the life," demonstrating that God's timing and purpose are greater than human understanding. Sometimes God doesn't move according to our timeline. He may allow a situation to seem beyond hope so that His glory and power can be clearly seen. See God in ALL things. Hang in there.
