The A–Z of Can You Hear You? A: Acceptance & Anxiety. What if you didn’t have to fix what you feel?
What if you didn’t have to fix what you feel? In the first letter of The A–Z of Can You Hear You? , we begin with two words that can change the way we meet ourselves: Acceptance and Anxiety . Acceptance isn’t about giving up, pretending everything is okay or abandoning what you need. It’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are and allowing what is here to be here, just for now. And anxiety? What if, instead of becoming the anxiety, you could begin to observe it? What if it isn’t something to fight, but something asking you to listen? In this episode, I explore my own relationship with trying too hard, chasing healing, needing to understand, and eventually discovering the freedom of more being and less doing . We’ll explore anxiety as a feeling rather than an identity, acceptance as a practice rather than a destination, and the possibility that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop, breathe and listen. Breathe. Listen. Breathe. Listen. To you. To your heart. To what you need. Inspired by Can You Hear Me? An Emotional Dictionary: Where Feelings Find Their Voice by Kelly Saward. 26 weeks. 26 letters.
