Blaine County Roundup Club – Ranch Rodeo, Keeping Traditions Alive
Welcome to the Red Road Trip! In this episode, I’m hitting the road to talk about one of the things that makes small-town Oklahoma special—people coming together to keep traditions alive. I’m joined by Blaine County Roundup Club officers Lacey and Cayman for a conversation about the Roundup Club, the people behind it, and their upcoming 2nd Annual Fall Festival Ranch Rodeo in Canton, Oklahoma. We talk about what goes into putting on a community event like this, the importance of rodeo and ranching traditions in rural Oklahoma, and why local organizations like the Blaine County Roundup Club matter to the communities they serve. 2nd Annual BCRC Fall Festival Ranch Rodeo Saturday, October 3, 2026 Canton Arena — 307 Washington Ave., Canton, OK 73724 Gates open at 5:00 PM | Rodeo starts at 7:00 PM Adults $10 | Ages 6–12 $5 | Cash admission The evening will feature ranch rodeo competition, mutton bustin’ for ages 7 & under, open bulls, open broncs, food trucks, vendors and plenty of small-town Oklahoma fun.
