The Big Hair Walking: Christian Health Podcast for Women Over 40 | Midlife Strength, Faith & Healthy Aging For every Christian woman over 40 who’s ever thought... ”I didn’t know it would be like this.” Life has a way of asking more of us than we expected. And we have a way of carrying more than we’ve been asked. If you remember big hair, Walkmans, and walking just because it felt good, you’re in the right place. The Big Hair Walking Podcast is a Christian podcast for women navigating midlife, menopause, healthy aging, grief, caregiving, changing health, and the everyday challenges of the second half of life. Hosted by Stef Cabaniss, MA, MPH—health coach, public health professional, and fellow traveler—each episode explores practical ways to build strength, health, and hope through walking, strength training, healthy habits, faith, and evidence-based health coaching. Whether you’re looking for encouragement, healthier habits, more energy, greater resilience, or a deeper faith, you’ll find honest conversations that help you keep walking through whatever life brings. This podcast is for Christian women, women over 40, and any woman who’s lived enough life to know it rarely goes according to our plans—but still believes there’s more life ahead. No pressure. No striving. No pretending. Just one small step at a time—because the smallest steps often result in the biggest changes. If you’re ready to live stronger in the second half, welcome. You’re not done. Not yet.

Sometimes the biggest victory has nothing to do with reps, routines, or the number on the scale.

Sometimes it’s simply walking in the door.

In this episode, Stef talks about the quiet courage of showing up — especially in midlife, when movement can feel emotional, vulnerable, and deeply personal. This is a conversation about perseverance, stewardship, and building a life your future self can still participate in.

Not by focusing on what you can’t do…

but by asking:

The scale can tell you what you weigh - It cannot tell you what you’re made of.

In this episode, Stef unpacks why the number on the scale has been given far too much authority — especially for women in midlife. From years of crash dieting and muscle loss to the moment she realized her body didn’t have the strength it once did, this conversation reframes weight, metabolism, and what “healthy” really means now.

It’s Not About Weight — It’s About Identity

We’ve given a lot of power to a small rectangle on the bathroom floor.

In this episode, Stef takes a light, honest, and sometimes absurd look at how the scale has been allowed to shape our moods, our choices, and even how we see ourselves. With humor and clarity, she reminds us that weight is information — not a verdict — and that identity comes before improvement.

Where You Stand Is Enough

Feeling “stuck” doesn’t always mean you are.

In this episode, we explore why so many women aren’t stuck at all — they’re exhausted from being strong for a long time, and their body is asking for steadiness before speed.

This conversation is for the woman who has adapted, adjusted, and kept going — and is now learning that standing still can be an act of courage, not failure.

You’ll hear about:

Why slowing down doesn’t mean you’re behind
...

If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
