244: How He Uses AI to Generate Millions of Views with Austin Armstrong
Sep 3, 20261h 4m
Today I'm talking to Austin Armstrong, a longtime digital marketer, founder of Syllaby and AI Marketing World, and someone who has built millions of followers across social media. Austin has spent more than two decades studying how attention works online, and this conversation is largely about how that's changing with AI. We talk about how he approaches content creation today, why Facebook has become his highest-ROI platform, what actually drives virality, and how he uses AI without fully automating his personal brand. We also get into the business side of AI, including how Syllaby evolved from a productivity tool into an AI content platform, why the company had to change its target customer and pricing, and what Austin thinks happens to SaaS as AI agents become more capable. 243: We Spent $50K to Fly Private (Was It Worth It?) with Tom Patterson and Chandler Bolt
Aug 27, 202657 min
I'm sitting on a private jet with Tom Patterson and Chandler Bolt, and the obvious question comes up: when does this kind of spending actually make sense? Once your business starts producing real money, the decisions don't necessarily get easier. Do you keep pouring everything back into the company? Spend more to save time? Pay for experiences and access to better rooms? Or are you just copying the lifestyle of someone who's ten years ahead of you? We get into the tension between frugality and leverage, why entrepreneurs can spend years being able to afford something before feeling comfortable buying it, and how trying to look successful can actually hurt your credibility with the people you're trying to impress. We also talk about the role relationships and proximity play as you scale—and why being around people operating at a completely different level can change what you believe is possible. 242: She Made Tens of Millions Buying the Neighborhoods Everyone Avoided with Britnie Turner
Aug 20, 202659 min
Britnie Turner built her real estate career by deliberately going where other investors wouldn't—high-crime neighborhoods, overlooked properties, and land that banks didn't even want to finance. That approach eventually helped her make tens of millions of dollars. But what interested me was why she was willing to make bets that looked irrational to almost everyone around her. Britnie went from waitressing, living in her car, and working for free to becoming one of Nashville's biggest rehabbers, developing entire communities, and eventually owning a private island in the British Virgin Islands. Along the way, she built her businesses around a much bigger mission than simply making money. We talk about what founders miss when they only pursue obvious opportunities, why conviction can matter more than having the perfect plan, and how building wealth gave Britnie the resources to take on problems far bigger than real estate, including disaster relief and human trafficking through Aerial Recovery. 241: The AI Shift That Will Change How You Run Your Company with Thanh Pham
Aug 13, 20261h 4m
Thanh Pham has spent 15 years studying productivity, and over the last five he's gone deep on implementing AI inside real companies. That means he's seen the difference between AI that actually changes how a business operates and AI that simply helps someone finish a task a little faster. That's the problem we dig into. If you're still using AI to shave a few minutes off work you were already doing yourself, you may be missing the bigger shift: changing who does the work in the first place. We talk about what Thanh hands to AI versus a person, how AI is changing the roles founders should be hiring for, and why companies that get this right could start moving dramatically faster than everyone else. We also get into what separates a million-dollar founder from entrepreneurs running much larger companies, why Thanh deliberately blocks several hours every week for something most founders never put on their calendar, and where human judgment still matters even as AI takes over more of the execution. 240: How to Build a Business That Runs Without You with Jeremy Shapiro
Aug 6, 20261h 11m
A lot of founders hit seven figures and assume they've built a business. But if sales slow down, decisions stall, or customers feel the difference whenever they step away, they may still be self-employed. Jeremy Shapiro has built companies across SaaS, ecommerce, technology, and services. He's seen the same pattern repeatedly: The hustle that creates momentum early on eventually becomes the thing holding the business back. We talk about why founders stay trapped in low-value work, how technology can quietly create more complexity, and why growth often stalls when you keep relying on the same channel, habits, or people. We also get into niche strategy, the hidden costs of building your own software, what separates a valuable mastermind from an expensive networking group, and why an SOP is useless if another person can't produce the same result. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
