The One Where We Get Scared by Brightly Lit Hallways
In this episode, Daniel, Eddie, and the rest of the gang bravely attempt to review Backrooms — a horror film that scared them, confused them, and ultimately outsmarted every single person in the room. They spend the first half praising bright hallways like they’ve discovered cinema, then immediately fall apart once the plot expects them to understand lore, symbolism, or literally anything happening on screen. The group debates Clark’s entire personality like they’re doing a psychological case study, despite none of them knowing what he actually wants or why he keeps wandering into cursed office spaces. Half the cast pretends the ending is “intriguing,” the other half admits they just didn’t get it. Naturally, the conversation derails into Nolan talk, IMAX worship, and a completely unrelated discussion about The Odyssey , because this group cannot stay on topic for more than 11 minutes. It’s chaotic, confused, and full of strong opinions backed by absolutely no expertise — classic Daniel and Eddie, plus the rest of the Backrooms survivors.
