  Episode #43

  #43 - Adam Knight

  Sep 28, 20261h 15m

Adam Knight is a singer-songwriter from southern Oregon whose path to Austin music was anything but conventional. In this episode, Adam and I talk about the winding road that took him from working bar security, to teaching, and eventually to pursuing music in Austin. Adam also opens up about some of the darker chapters of his life and how those experiences shaped the person he is today, both inside and outside of music. It’s an honest conversation about finding your path, embracing transformation, and discovering what music can make possible. And we’re celebrating an Austin Music People first with Episode 43: you can now watch the entire conversation on YouTube with full video! A huge thank you to Adam, and to Reid at Local Sets ATX, for pushing me outside my comfort zone; without even really knowing it. The timing felt right, and bringing this conversation (and all future conversations) to video feels like the best way to honor the depth and honesty of Adam’s story.
