News; game: 1980's song lyrics; when it comes to a big purchase (appliances, car, furniture) how long do you spend 'researching'...when is too much---too much?; goodbye/fun facts....The Teddy Bear was created to commemorate President Theodore Roosevelt an avid hunter who went on a bear hunting trip. Unlike some of the other hunters in the party, Roosevelt had not been able to shoot a single bear so his aides trapped and tied a black bear to a willow tree, however, Roosevelt declined to shoot the bear because he thought it was highly unsportsmanlike. A political cartoonist, saw the report and chose to parody the president's unwillingness to shoot the bear in a funny manner...then a local candy shop owner made a stuffed bear (named Teddy's Bear) and the trend took off.
