He currently serves as Head of Political Affairs for America’s Credit Unions, where he leads national political strategy and engagement supporting pro–credit union candidates and issue advocacy. Since joining America’s Credit Unions in 2005, Trey has built one of the nation’s premier trade association political operations. Under his leadership, the organization’s nearly $6 million federal PAC has consistently ranked among the largest in the country. During the 2024 election cycle, he directed a $7 million federal independent expenditure and member voter contact program, helping elect credit union champions in competitive races and contributing to a pro–credit union majority in Congress.
