S4E3 - A Conversation with Dr. Anne Provencher
In this episode of A Conversation in Veterinary Pathology - the A.C.V.P. Podcast, we sit down with Dr. Anne Provencher, the 2026 president of the American College of Veterinary Pathology. This interview was recorded in 2024 when she was the President-Elect, so we could learn more about the clinical pathologist, toxicologic pathology expert, and longtime leader and volunteer who is now our president. Dr. Provencher shares her unconventional journey into clinical pathology, the mentors and experiences that shaped her career, and the lessons she has learned about persistence, leadership, and professional growth along the way. We also discuss the evolving role of clinical pathologists in drug development and toxicologic pathology, and the importance of mentorship and volunteer service. Stay tuned for a future episode where we learn more about her goals as president in an interview with 2025 President, Dr. Rachel Reams. But for now, sit back and be inspired as we get to know Dr. Anne Provencher. ____ Links ACVP Website 2026 ACVP Annual Meeting Recent ACVP Webinars (Members Only Access, ACVP Website) ____ ACVP Social Media Facebook - ACVP Meetings and Topics Instagram - americancollegevetpath X (Twitter) - @ACVP LinkedIn - AMERICAN COLLEGE OF VETERINARY PATHOLOGISTS ____ Music: Guestlist by Podington Bear , licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 International License.
