Episode 14: Be Patient with Me
What does patience really look like? In this episode of 4th Sundays with Eddie, Pastor Eddie Williams continues the Living a Fruitful Life series by exploring the fruit of the Spirit: patience. Using Matthew 18:21–35 as the anchor text, this message looks beyond patience as simply “waiting” and focuses on the character of God and how His patience should shape the way we live. Through three realities, we discover: God is patient with us — He gives us grace, mercy, and room to grow. We must be patient with ourselves — growth takes time, and being unfinished does not mean God is unsuccessful. We must be patient with others — because we have received patience, we are called to extend it. From Michigan Time to the unforgiving servant, this message reminds us that grace does not change the destination—it gives us room to get there. Scripture: Matthew 18:21–35 Big Idea: When we abide in Jesus, the Holy Spirit produces patience in us. May this message help you recognize how patient God has been with you, give yourself grace while you grow, and extend that same patience to others.
