Zac Efron: podcast appearances and interviews

Zachary David Alexander Efron is an American actor born on October 18, 1987. He began his acting career in the early 2000s and gained widespread recognition as a teen idol for his role as Troy Bolton in the High School Musical film series from 2006 to 2008. During this period, he also appeared in the musical film Hairspray in 2007 and the comedy film 17 Again in 2009. Efron has starred in a variety of films including New Year's Eve in 2011, The Lucky One and The Paperboy in 2012, and several other projects such as Neighbors, That Awkward Moment, Dirty Grandpa, Baywatch, and The Greatest Showman. His filmography also features roles as Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile in 2019 and Kevin Von Erich in The Iron Claw in 2023. In addition to acting, Efron hosted the Netflix travel series Down to Earth from 2020 to 2022, for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2021. His contributions to film and television were recognized in 2023 when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
