Yuri Bezmenov: podcast appearances and interviews

Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov was a Soviet journalist who worked for the Novosti Press Agency. Born on December 11, 1939, he became known for his defecting to the West in 1970 while serving as a member of the Soviet mission in New Delhi, India. Following his defection, Bezmenov was resettled in Canada under an agreement between US and Canadian security agencies. He gained recognition for his anti-Marxist and anti-Soviet lectures and publications during the 1980s. His insights and commentary focused on the ideological and political strategies associated with Soviet influence and propaganda. Bezmenov's perspective as a former Soviet insider provided a critical view of Soviet practices and intentions. He passed away on January 5, 1993.
