Yael Averbuch West is an American soccer executive and former professional player who serves as the general manager of Gotham FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She was previously the founding president of the NWSL Players Association, a position she held until 2019, and was appointed as Gotham FC's general manager in 2021. As a player, she competed for various clubs, including Sky Blue FC, Western New York Flash, Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC, and FC Kansas City, among others. She won multiple championships throughout her playing career, including the WPS titles with Sky Blue FC and the WPS championship with FC Kansas City in her debut NWSL season. Averbuch's international career includes representing the United States at every youth level and playing for the senior national team from 2007 to 2013, earning 26 caps and scoring once.
