William Trubridge, born on 24 May 1980, is a New Zealand freediver who has achieved recognition as a world champion and a former world record holder. He was the first diver to descend more than 100 metres without fins. Trubridge held the world record in the free immersion discipline from 2010 to 2018 and in the constant weight without fins discipline from 2010 to 2025. His accomplishments in these disciplines position him as a prominent figure in the sport of freediving.
