Will Sharpe: podcast appearances and interviews

William Tomomori Fukuda Sharpe, born in 1986, is an English actor and filmmaker known for his work across television and film. He began his career by writing for comedy shows and appearing in the medical drama Casualty during 2009 to 2010. Sharpe made his feature directorial debut with the film Black Pond in 2011, which garnered a BAFTA nomination. He is also recognized for creating, writing, directing, and starring in the Channel 4 comedy-drama Flowers from 2016 to 2018, and for his role in the BBC Two series Defending the Guilty between 2018 and 2019. His performance in the series Giri/Haji in 2019 earned him a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor. Sharpe has expanded his filmmaking portfolio with the 2021 feature films The Electrical Life of Louis Wain and the Sky Atlantic miniseries Landscapers. In 2022, he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his appearance in the second season of The White Lotus. Currently, he is affiliated with Dinner and a Movie PDX, continuing his work in both acting and filmmaking.
