William Carroll is an American sportswriter and sports injury specialist affiliated with Injury Territory. He is known for his focus on medical issues in sports, including injuries and performance-enhancing drugs. Carroll's work gained prominence through his 'Under the Knife' column, which he authored for eight years on Baseball Prospectus, where he served as a senior writer.
