George Vincent Gilligan Jr. is an American screenwriter and filmmaker known for his work in television and film. He gained significant recognition as the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of the AMC crime series Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008 to 2013, as well as its spin-off prequel series Better Call Saul, which ran from 2015 to 2022.
