Vernon Wells: podcast appearances and interviews

Vernon George Wells, born on 31 December 1945, is an Australian character actor. He began his acting career appearing on Australian television shows in the mid-1970s, including Homicide, Matlock Police, and All the Rivers Run. Wells gained international recognition for his role as Wez in the 1981 science fiction action film Mad Max 2 and as Bennett in the military action film Commando. Following his performance in Mad Max 2, he expanded his career into Hollywood films, notably appearing in science fiction comedies such as Weird Science in 1985 and Innerspace in 1987. In the 2000s, Wells took on the role of the main villain Ransik in the television series Power Rangers Time Force. Since the 2010s and continuing into the 2020s, he has become a regular presence in American action B-movies, maintaining an active career in genre films.
