Venki Ramakrishnan: podcast appearances and interviews

Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, born in 1952, is a British-American structural biologist renowned for his research on the structure and function of ribosomes. He shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009 with Thomas A. Steitz and Ada Yonath for their work in this field. Since 1999, Ramakrishnan has been a group leader at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus in the United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. From 2015 to 2020, he served as the President of the Royal Society, an esteemed position within the scientific community.
