Tyler Lyons: podcast appearances and interviews

Tyler William Lyons, born on February 21, 1988, is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He attended Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, where he played college baseball for the Cowboys. Lyons was selected by the New York Yankees in the 10th round of the 2009 amateur draft but chose to remain at OSU. The following year, he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the ninth round, and he signed with them. During his career, Lyons also played in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2011, while pitching for the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Florida State League in the minor leagues, he pitched the first no-hitter in team history. He is a three-time recipient of the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week Award. Currently, Lyons is affiliated with Asym Capital.
