Troy Wayne Grant, born on 11 February 1970, is an Australian politician and a former police officer. He served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Dubbo for the Nationals from 2011 to 2019. During his political career, Grant held several significant roles including Minister for Police, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Justice and Police, Minister for Racing, and Minister for the Arts in the Baird government. He also served as Minister for Hospitality, Gaming and Racing, Minister for Trade and Investment, Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services, and Minister for Tourism and Major Events. Grant was the Deputy Premier of New South Wales and the leader of The Nationals from October 2014 until November 2016, when he stood down as Nationals leader and Deputy Premier. He was the first Inspector-General of Water Compliance, a position he has held since August 2021. In addition, Grant was appointed chairman of International Rugby League in March 2021, overseeing the global governing body for rugby league. Beyond his political and administrative roles, Grant is associated with Four Day Weekend, serving as its President and Founder.
