Christopher Alan Stewart, known as Tricky Stewart, is an American record producer, record executive, songwriter, and music publisher born on January 4, 1974. He began producing music in 1992 and has contributed to the commercial success of numerous projects across hip hop, R&B, and pop genres, with over 50 million unit sales. Stewart has been recognized with five Grammy Awards throughout his career. He has frequently collaborated with production partner and R&B singer The-Dream, earning credits on notable singles such as Mya's Case of the Ex, Britney Spears' Me Against the Music, Rihanna's Umbrella, Mary J. Blige's Just Fine, Beyoncé's Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), and various hits by Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Ciara, and Tyla.
